Lap Dance
So last night I went and bought a new computer, an apple laptop, and some accessories to go with it. Over the course of the previous two jobs I have discovered that I really love a laptop, a desktop works okay, but I love the portability of a laptop. So when my next job came with a G5 (desktop) Kelly and I talked about it and after some lengthy discussion; decided that I could indeed, use a laptop, so I bought one. I love Kelly, for so many reasons, but most of all for her understanding of my idiosyncrasies.
So here is what I bought last night, I included the links to be fancy but I know most of you don’t click on them anyway, so I may ;) have linked them to other things. The bold’s above are for the skimmers.
PowerBook 15 1.67GHz SuperDrive I upgraded the memory slightly to 1GB DDR333 SDRAM - 2x512 SO-DIMMs and then upgraded the hardrive to100GB Ultra ATA drive @ 5400 rpm
AirPort Extreme Base Station (with modem and antenna port)
Apple Cinema Display (20 flat panel)
AppleCare Protection Plan for PowerBook (w/ or w/o Display)
Brenthaven Fusion Flex Messenger Case
Wacom Intuos3 - 6X8 pen tablet

Coolness. My once-cutting-edge TiBook is showing its age -- e.g., the CD/DVD drive has quit and I can't afford to replace it -- so I envy you.
