Wasn't that the hotel that hosted the very first DecipherCon back in 1999?
Thats the old hotel on the hill above the old DecipherCon location (of 1999 and 2000). What I want to know is where did this particular walk start?
The walk started at a friends house on 45th street. We walked down this path that runs down the middle of the block , behind everyones gardens.
If you ever end up down there you should look for the path. It was amazing the gardens, the smells, the brick walk that is hidden in amongst the houses that was once there so that people who lived there could go to the cavalier for all the social events.
Quite a bit of history tied to that walk.
Aussie-Askew you're right. I just remembered the finalists dinner was held in the hotel (no, I wasn't there). But the actual hotel was across the street.
