The softest leather sofa ever
Last sunday we were out running errands, (not packing) when we stopped in at a local scratch and dent furniture store, that is only open on the weekends.
Why did we stop there...
Because we don't own a couch, sofa, loveseat or Futon for that matter. We have no piece of furnture that sits in a living room, family room, or game room, that can seat more than one person at a time.
We did once, back when we owned a house. In fact when we owned the house we had both a sofa and a love seat.
Side Note: It has become apparent to me in writing this stuff that there is a point in time that keeps coming up. And that is the point of home ownership that exists up until the home sale and then everything after home ownership. SO that point will now be known as D.uring H.ome O.wnership and the point after will be S.ince H.ome O.wnership
So we now return you to your regularly scheduled blog.
But when we decided to sell the house and move into an apt (in ghent) it became apparent to us that the larger pieces of furniture were just not going to fit into the considerably smaller apt. so we got rid of them.
Well now we are moving into the considerably larger apt. and I want to have people over and these people will have no where to really sit except the dining room table without a sofa of some kind.
And it was this line of thinking that brought us to where we ended up last sunday, sitting on a leather Natuzzi sofa with the softest leather I have ever sat on in a couch. It was like your favorite old bomber jacket that you've had for years and just fits so comfortably around you. It was like butter. And it was $1200, which was more than I thought we had intended on spending for a sofa. Especially when the sofa was really a love seat.
